This year's CNY sucks.

When I say that, it doesn't mean that I have NO family or friends to spend the holidays with but it's because of this fucking sore throat which has been irritating me since a week ago. and right now, I am suffering from this unbearably painful swollen throat that I can't even eat or drink. the best part is that ALL the clinics will only start working tomorrow! I can barely feel anything in my mouth now except the pain when I tried to swallow my saliva.

FUCK.

anyway, CNY EVE with zi long's family was a simple one, just that I felt a little stressful whenever his parents talk to me. I am really extremely afraid of his parents. Especially his mum! Hahah.

So I left the next morning and went to Mervyn's house at night for BBQ. dude it was a sumptuous meal man! with crabs, beef, prawns, squids chicken wings and etc. Again, due to my bloody throat, I wasn't able to eat ALOT..not even the ALCOHOL! urgh there were CHIVAS and TIGER BEER there can? damn it. Then we had this super hardcore WATER GUN fights by the pool!hahaha. oh man it was indeed hell loads of fun lah. I was thrown into the pool for like..10times?haha. so after the game we went back to his house and watched Football Hooligan. oh my God it is a must watch lah seriously. I don't think it is shown in Singapore but I think you guys should really try to find it man. damn nice!

then woke up yesterday morning and felt that I was going to die any second. I think this must be the most severe case ever. =(

then played mahjong with my friends in the afternoon..and..

LEFT FOR ZOUK AT AROUND 8+!

Paul Van Dyk was in town to spin the table for ZOUK! I mean how often can you witness a world class DJ spinning the table??!

so despite my HIGH fever(37.8) and bad throat, I insisted on going as this was my VIRGIN time to ZOUK and the cool German DJ was there. haha.

so we got inside the club after a short while but to our horror, the club was PACKED. when I say packed it basically means you have no SPACE to move at all! But anyway, the music was simply FANTASTIC. it's soooo different from the normal house music.well I guess thats why there were at least 1000 people in the club last night?haha.

as the place was really crowded, we left at around 1+ and there was still a super long queue outside the club.=D.

felt really sick and came home instantly.

then woke up an hour ago, blogging the wonderful CNY events of mine.haha

I caught Memoirs of Geisha with the karmas 2 days ago. Well it wasn't that bad after all, just that I think Zhang ZiYi is seriously NOT beautiful and didn't really fit into the character.

Then we walked around Bugis and bought myself a pair of slippers from Leather Ark (yes no longer the Ah Beng white slippers.muhaha). Oh ya I forgot to mention that just the day before the movie I went out with Steven and co to buy new clothes. hehs I haven seen him in ages la, ever since the Sentosa trip last year.

As it was a pleasant Friday evening and nobody was willing to stay at home, jv was KIND enough to bring me jon hs and zh into MOS. ok not JV..it's JV's sister's friend.hahah.

Man, MOS is damn bloody HUGE lah. If I were to assign a NBA's player name to every club arh, MOS will deserve the name SHAQ O'NEAL. I decided to abandon Yao Ming because he's too skinny and not as MONSTROUS as SHAQ. In this case, yes, MOS is MONSTROUS. ok anyway we had immense fun inside the mega club, with JV getting incredibly DRUNK!muhahaha.

"Nevermind lah you all faster go in lah..don't be a wet blanket can? I am OK..OK..OK..faster go in lah.."

muhahaha. I mean just by looking at her semi-conscious face was already FUN itself. hahah.

But its a pity that we do not belong to the age group there lah( 25 and above) so I guess we shall just stick to normal parties and clubs man.hahah.

I love my childhood. they rock.=D

I am going to zi long's house for reunion dinner later on, his family was kind enough to invite me over, damn touched. T__T.

alright that's about it.

(what the fuck did I do lah? Damn it I can fucking swear to God I did nothing. Don't accuse me when I've did nothing at all. Just don't understand why. urghh)

Love, love, love, what can I say...

Just the other day I was thinking about this funny thing which Michelle told me last Wednesday.

She asked to me to show her my palm(right hand for guys) and then she started examining the lines on my palm.

And then she made an amazing discovery.

"Wah.Do you know that you have THREE serious relationships in your life and ONE marriage?"

I was like..and then?

Then she said, "Look at your face..and your lines..don't know how many girls will "die" under your hands, man.TSKTSK."

I was like..uh huh?

I mean I have never ever tasted the fruits of a successful relationship before lah, like how the hell am I going to have 3 serious relationships PLUS many girls dying under my "hands"?

I think I am about to use up the 3 SERIOUS relationships soon. i mean what is the definition of SERIOUS?

Meaning I cry like a dog after the break up?

If thats the way right..I think I'm only left with one more chance.

i actually intended to blog a very, very very angry entry but i've decided not to continue because

1) it is really kind of enraging.

2)my poor command of english simply restricted my ideas.

3)its really a foolish act.

haha.

i shall screw the weather then.

the whole sunny-rainy-sunny-rainy days are fucking killing me.

now my cough is back to haunt me again.arghh.my worst nightmare. i can cough non-stop for one fucking month. can you imagine???

i would LOVE to sneeze than to cough for one bloody month. i mean sneezing is like one of the best "symptoms of illness" ever man. i hate blocked nose because when it happens, i would have to stuff the tissue paper into my nostrils. To those who have tried doing this before, the tricky part about stuffing tissue(or any objects.) into your nostrils is that you have to "siam" (avoid) triggering the itch nerves in it. Unfortunately, many of us failed to do so, so when the itch nerves sensed that you're tickling them, thats it brothers and sisters.

say byebye to your tissue(or any objects)

and it gets fucking irritating when you repeat the same action for like..a dozen times but the damn tissue(or any objects) just refuses to stay in place.

same goes for running nose.

your hands simply cannot leave the tissue paper and your nose because the moment your concentration gets distracted, the slimey,greenish,whatever juice will start falling like the Angel Falls and trust me, you will loathe that sick sensation between your nose and lips.

coughing!

arghh.its just a complete pain ok. i mean i am already ill lah..why do i still need to spend so much energy to push the air out. worse still, its as if my lungs will fly out any moment.if the situation is severe enough, i get to see some blood in the phlegm. and its sick.

here comes the best symptoms...

SNEEZING.

dude that is probably the best feeling ever man. its like when you have all your stress/emotion/rubbish up there in your brain clogging for quite sometime and suddenly sneezing showed up and provided you with a way to dispose those dirty crap.

and you know what's the best part?

its that when you're sick but you're not feeling sick! you're enjoying yourself, relaxing yourself!

plus, it happens not only when you're ill!

you can do it anytime, anywhere lor. damn cool right?

damn.i really thank my body for its ability to sneeze.hehs.

And the future awaits..

I met up with Michelle today. Been four freaking long years since we last met. Ok maybe we did 2years back..when we bumped into each other at Esplanade. =)

The meeting was short yet memorable..simple yet emotional(for me). I can't believe she's leaving for Australia in just 2 days time. Australia..that's fucking far away from Singapore right?Ok its not..but spiritually it is.haha.

Well we chatted alot..and crapped alot. and she is still the Michelle Lim 4 years ago. strong girl with some unique character.hehs

i have some really cool, efficient and reliable friends man.

seriously.

i did not realise that there are so many different kind of friends around me.

ok maybe its because Singapore is relatively small, so everyone is somehow inter-linked.

but anyway, my point is..i am fucking glad that i have all these people around me.

but first, i went to ruiteck's house last night to watch the man utd game, oh and alvin was there too.haha.its been ages since we last met up lah.like..super long lor.

but yeah the feeling is still the same, there wasn't any awkwardness among us. that is something very hard to achieve can and it just shows how strong the bond is. all thanks to the basketball days!haha.i love you guys.=)

ok so about the crush, i finally know something about her..or i should say..everything.haha.

thats the power of friends you see.

i was told that she is kinda infamous and its better to leave her alone.

so, i shall just leave her alone.its just a crush anyway. there will be many other crushes.=D

still no news from butter factory..urghh.forget it la huh.i shall just get my ass back to taiwan.

i think $35 for a dinner at Kublai Khan(4th floor, Park Mall) is definitely NOT worth it.

i mean ok they do serve good food, but its way behind the standard of a $35 worth of a dinner.

especially when they present themselves as a glamorous and wonderful INTERNATIONAL BUFFET restaurant on television ads.

bah, mankind. we're all gullible and greedy and cheaters.haha

i am glad to see that the weather is FINALLY turning sunny again.yes afiqah, the sun is finally here.fuck the rain ok?haha.

well lately i've been an emotional and angry person.not that i am one.i seldom am.

i planned to sleep at 2am and wake up at 9am Friday morning.

so i carried out my usual routine: signed out from MSN, set the screen-saver waiting time to 1min, removed the rubbish on my bed and finally, adjusted myself to a cosy position so that i could fall asleep while watching television.

so i waited

and waited.

weird.my eyes weren't heavy and the images in the television did not turn blur.

so i switched off the tv,closed my eyes and waited.

apparently the sleeping bugs decided to give themselves a day off tonight.

which is why i am here blogging this crappy entry.

it is very rare for a heavy sleeper like me not to feel sleepy at this hour.

or rather..show any signs of lethargy.

i don't know why, but out of the blue, many MANY past memories just keep crashing in.

all the way from my primary school days to last year.

so i went over to my friend's room and poured out whatever was in me. *note that my friend and I are childhood friends.

oh man, those were the days.

there are so many, that i have no idea where to begin.

those were the good ol' days.

of course, the chat ended with my friend's inability to resist the magic of sleep.

so i left his room and got back to mine.

i think i really need to get some sleep.

at least i will try to.

i am down with flu.all thanks to the rain.

WHY CAN'T IT JUST STOP?

butter factory didn't call, no news of that crush.

EVERYTHING IS SO SCREWED.

school has been incredibly slacking.

and it's bad because as the saying goes, "an idle mind is the workshop of the devil".it means when you're very free you will do something bad and useless.

ok i do not know whether it is a saying or not.i heard it on Hanyunt, the malay show on Suria.

i really wish i could be given another shot for the interview.

well at least let it be a one-to-one session instead of three-to-two?

talking about school, i am really very disappointed with the modules and everything.

i have to admit, that the reason why i was so against the course in the beginning was because i didn't find it cool.and that was shallow.i admit.

but as time passes, i realise its the modules and everything.instead of the people.

why the fuck do i have to know about buildings and wines and food of china?

do they help me find a better job upon graduation?

furthermore,i'm paying a HUGE some of money for all these meaningless modules.by the way, when i say huge i mean really HUGE.

sigh.

but like weiting said, maybe year 2 onwards will be better.

yeah, let's see.

and to those in chs(media track) who are reading this, i wonder you guys ever wonder why the X!Capade handbook keeps emphasizing on the teaching track. media track?oh yeah of course there is. maybe only 0.05%. and why do HMS allow teaching track people to take up electives like RADIO PRODUCTION, TV, NEW MEDIA, MARKETING and so on in year 2?its not fair isn't it?they're in the teaching track just let them stick with the teaching career la, why allow them to take up seats in the supposedly MEDIA ELECTIVES?its not fair to the media students because those teaching people(who are suppose to TEACH after graduation) are competing with us!the media students!aren't we suppose to be given the privileges instead of them? genius genius HMS.

they will argue that after the contract with MOE they will have other working alternatives i say fuck you understand?if you have chosen the teaching track, why don't you jolly well stick with whatever you're trained in? after all, the teaching students are getting $800 every month right?and who ask you to take up teaching when you want to do media SO badly?

aiya..i think i've repeat this for don't know how many gazillion times already.

regarding the butter factory, well..

hello its the second week of January and its still fucking raining!

i hate rainy days because they make me LAZY! i mean seriously do you guys still want to hit town or chiong or(whatever you guys usually do) or you rather stay at home and do nothing but just LAZE around and/or sleep? Please don't tell me that its a nice weather for MUGGING because hell no it isn't!

Just imagine you open up the textbook(or whatever it is I can't remember) and the tiny words start crawling into your brain, and then they slowly invade your eyes and finally you surrender by pulling out your thick, white blanket and bury yourself under it.

There, its IMPOSSIBLE to be a nerd when it rains.

and its IMPOSSIBLE to be a chiongster(hardcore town-er or club-er) when it rains too.

and since its impossible for you to do anything, you're as good as a VEGETABLE.and your only choice is to become sluggish and nua(hokkien for ROT) at home.

so, I hate the rain. I mean the continuous ones.

fuck them.

ok enough of the complaints.ha.

i went for the interview with The Butter Factory(this new club which will be lauching soon) and there was this fucking 22yr old lady who was there and she's one scheming bit**. its not like she's the interviewer or who-so-ever but she acted like she was one and was questioning me instead of the original interviewer. and she kept interupting the conversation between the interviewer and I and threw sarcasm at some of my answers and thoughts.

i mean what's your bloody problem lady?we're all there to get a job(for a NEW and MEGA club), were all those cheapo devious tricks necessary? i say screw you man, you think you can "impress" the interviewers by bringing me down?please, the only reason why i would not be chosen would only be because i am a foreigner and its difficult for us to work in Singapore.not because of your smart-alec bitching.urgh.

but on the other hand, I thank you for showing me part of the REAL world. its all about backstabbing and bullshitting right? haha.

anyway i really want this job badly man.hopefully they won't mind a foreigner.pleaseee.

just when will this january rain go?

i think something is very wrong with this world.

you get crazy weather every now and then.

just like those in singapore.you can have a day filled with scorching sun rays, and another with freezing rain.

i am amazed.

ok so anyway, went to catch The Dark with mervyn last night then went to meet up with shawn and his gf.so we decided to chill out at a pub near bugis and boy,we had hell loadss of fun there.haha.

shawn and june are nice people.i like them.haha.

i thought the last day of 2005 would have been a disaster.

no more counting down at jon's place..no more childhood friends around with us.

what's left were 3 LONLEY guys.me jon and hs.

so we were on msn..discussing where the fuck we shld go when suddenly, hs aka xiao hong came up with this brilliant idea of going to the "Get the Funk Out" party at civic plaza outside taka.

mind u..at that point of time..the rain was pouring out there and seriously i thought 31stDec05 would have sucked.

well..

I WAS WRONG!!

it was prob the best party ever.and the best countdown ever?in terms of fun and excitement.haha.just that orchard was once again,swarmed with foreign workers.and pls do not pity them or whatsoever..cos they were out there only for one motive---to molest the girls.even the guys!god.how sick.

so anw..saw xiaxue there!and we took picture with her.haha.well it was taken by a camera phone so pls do forgive me if its blur.but stil..u can still see xiaxue vividly.=D

then got home,was fckin drunk and tired,bathed and went to slp.

so much for the party.

2005 was full of ups and downs.there were sweet moments,there were the unpleasant ones.but i have to move on,cos only by doing so then i will gain experiences and become a better person.thanks for everthing u/u guys have given me.its a new year ahead of us now.. and i would love to see nothing else but everyone enjoying themselves with whatever they are doing.
